September 2013 - June 2014 Early Registration
The Toronto Japanese Language School's next academic year runs from September, 2013 through June, 2014. TJLS offers a discounted tuition fee to those who sign up early for next year’s classes. To qualify for the school’s special early registration you need only fill out an application form and pay the deposit. Early Registration is available for a time-limited period on the following Saturday mornings: May 11th, 25th, June 1st, 8th, and 15th before class and during the coffee break. The balance is due in September. The deposit and balance may be paid by either cash or cheque. We cannot accept credit cards or debit cards. Below is a listing of Early Registration fees for classes starting on September 14th, 2013.
To save time during registration, we recommend you print the form from our website, fill it out at your leisure, and bring it to the school with payment in the form of cash or cheque.

The tuition fee may be paid by either cash or cheque. We unfortunately cannot accept credit cards or debit cards.

Payment Notes
Please Note:
- To qualify for the school’s special early registration you need only fill out an application form and pay the deposit.
- Payment of deposit and balance or full fee by cash or cheque by cheques made payable to The Toronto Japanese Language School.
- No pro-rating of fees for late or short enrolment.
- Tuition Fee Refund:
- Up to and including the third class, a student may withdraw during this time period and receive a refund of tuition fees, less a $50 administrative fee.
- The student must advise his/her teacher in writing stating reason and return the original receipt for tuition paid.
- Return any course materials received.
- Books are non-refundable.
- Students can buy the assigned textbook from their teacher. Full payment by cash or cheque at time of purchase. Optional texts should be purchased only with teacher recommendation.
- Keep your tuition receipts for income tax purposes. A service charge of $10 will be levied for a replacement.

September Registration
September Registration will be available at Orde St. Public School on Saturday, September 7th between 9:30 and 11:00 A.M. It will also be available as required the following two Saturdays. Full payment by cash or cheque is due at this time.

Current School Events
Fund raising for the victims Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami
A bake, book, white elephant sale was held at the school during coffee break on April 3rd to aid in relief efforts for victims Japanese Earthquake/Tsunami. Over $1400 dollars was raised from the sale as well as donations from individuals.
Classes
Classes are held on Saturday mornings from September until June. Class begins at 9:30 am, and ends at noon. The Toronto Japanese Language School follows the public school schedule; therefore when the Orde Street School is closed, the TJLS is closed as well.
Classes for Children
Children's classes start at Preschool (4-5 years old) and continue through Grades 1 to 8.
Classes for Adults
Adult classes start at the Low Beginners level and progress through High Beginners, Low and High Intermediate to Low and High Advanced. There are also Business and Japanese Cultural classes. Anyone planning a short or extended trip to Japan will find their experience enhanced by even a few Japanese language classes.

Easy access via TTC. Just a short walk west of Queen's Park Subway Station at McCaul & College Streets.
By car, there is parking off of McCaul St directly across from Orde St. Parking on Saturdays is a flat rate of $6.
Note: Orde St. is one way west! If you want to drop off or pick up someone in front of the school, you must go north on University, turn left onto Elm St, turn north onto Murray St and then left onto Orde St.
